Catherine Milone-Richards
President

Catherine has 15 years of corporate and not-for-profit experience, including 7 years at Junior Achievement of New York (JANY), 3 years at Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP), and 5 years at Junior Achievement of New Jersey (JANJ) and was named President of JANJ on July 1, 2004.

Catherine currently serves as the co-chair of the Education & Workforce Development Committee for the New Jersey Business & Industry Assn. (NJBIA), the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Association of Partners in Education (NJAPIE), a member of the New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education (NJCFE), and a board member for the YWCA of Trenton. A graduate of Syracuse University, she currently resides with her husband, Tom in historic Mill Hill, a community of Trenton, NJ.

Amy Boroff
Development Manager

Amy Boroff, Development Manager, Junior Achievement of New Jersey (JANJ), joined the staff in February 2007.  Prior to joining the JANJ staff, Amy worked for several years fundraising in the non-profit sector and coordinating corporate events.  She served as a Manager at the National MS Society in the New York City office and spent several years managing events and conventions for John Wiley and Sons, Inc.   Her focus at JANJ is raising funds for the organization through events such as Bowl-a-Thons and Golf Outings, while developing relationships with new partnering companies. 

Amy is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts.   She studied and graduated with a BA in Elementary Education and Sociology.    She currently resides in Fanwood, NJ with her husband Demian and daughter Aliette.

Alicia Fusco
Program Manager

Alicia Balestrieri is from Lawrenceville, NJ and began working with JANJ on September 15, 2005 as a Program Manager for Northern New Jersey. Prior to working with JANJ, she worked at the Journal Register Company for three years and Summit Bancorp for eight years. She currently resides in Middlesex, NJ and is a proud member of the Mercer-Burlington USBC Bowling Association. In her spare time, she takes care of her pet ferret named Valentine and her two cats named Piper Marie and Shorty Louise. Alicia also notes, "I come from a family of bowlers which I enjoy as well as spending time with my family and watching my favorite TV shows Prison Break, One Tree Hill, and MTV The Hills." As of October 18th, she will be named Mrs. Alicia Fusco!

Celeste Hardrick
Senior Education Manager

Celeste Blackmon- Hardrick hails from Trenton, NJ. She began at JANJ on October 2002 as a Senior Education Manager. She is a graduate of Hightstown High School ’80, the Cittone Business Institute ’93, and the George C. Weiss Insurance School ’02. She has since obtained a Professional Certification in Business Administration.

Prior to working at JANJ, she was a Physician Underwriter at MIIX Insurance Group located in Lawrenceville, NJ where her responsibilities included writing new and renewal business policies for individual and group physicians as well as preparing and presenting detailed account data for management approval for major accounts over $250,000. She also was the liaison for five major broker agencies responsible for servicing their accounts and responsible for the training of new hires and underwriting assistants.

She currently resides in Burlington Township, NJ with her husband, David Hardrick III, and has three children. She is an active member of Vessels Inc., and her favorite flavor of ice cream is Butter Pecan. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, cooking, traveling, and reading the Bible.

Susana Monteiro
Senior Program Director 

Susana Monteiro joined Junior Achievement in October of 1998 after graduating from Montclair State University  with a Bachelors of Science in Non-Profit Management.  As Sr. Program Director for Junior Achievement of New Jersey she runs and oversees all programs in Northern New Jersey.  Susana is responsible for After-school and In-School Programs. Under her administration Northern programs have grown over 100% since 1998.

Ellen Motts
Senior Administrative Manager 

Ellen started at JANJ on July 1, 2003 in the position of Senior Administrative Manager serving as office manager with responsibilities for database management, press releases, grant proposals, etc. She graduated from Manasquan, NJ High School and Muskingum College in New Concord, OH  with a BA in Secondary Education and a minor in French. Prior to joining JANJ, she worked as Executive Assistant to the President and Vice President of Michael E. Marion & Associates, an executive search firm in Murray Hill, NJ.

Ellen currently resides in Spring Lake, NJ with her spouse Fred Motts. They have two children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, walking, and doing crossword puzzles. Her favorite book is Gone With the Wind By Margaret Mitchell.

Jeanine Nolan
Development Manager

Jeanine (Kassl) Nolan has recently renewed her relationship with Junior Achievement as a part time Development Manager. She began her career at Junior Achievement of New York in 1994 and held various positions, with the culmination of her efforts as Senior Vice President of Marketing and generated $1.5 million net income through corporate special events. In 2000, Jeanine relocated with her husband to Miami, FL and taught in a private elementary school. They were relocated to Copenhagen, Denmark and then to New Jersey, where they currently reside in Mendham. Jeanine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from St. Joseph’s University and a Master of Science in Elementary Education from Hunter College. She enjoys tennis, golf, running and being a mom.

Dawn Schwartz
Vice President, Development and Communications

Dawn Schwartz, Senior Development Director, Junior Achievement of New Jersey (JANJ), has been a part of the Junior Achievement organization since she graduated college. Her first position was with the Junior Achievement of New York offices as one of their program managers. Over several years, she held a variety of positions with them to include Events Manager, Grants Manager and eventually, Manager of Development. After leaving JANY, Dawn worked and consulted for a number of other non-profits such as ORT and JCCs  in such areas as capital campaigns, annual giving campaigns, special events, board development and grant writing.

Dawn is a graduate of Arizona State University  where she received a BA in Business Communications with a minor in Psychology. She grew up in Bergen County New Jersey but now resides in Livingston  with her husband David, daughter Samantha, and son Nathan. Dawn is an avid spinner and enjoys a good game of tennis.

Michael Troutman
Senior Development Manager

Michael began working with JANJ on September 1, 2006. He is a graduate of Brown University '04 with a double major B.A. Economics and B.A. Visual Arts. Prior to working with JANJ, he obtained three years of broadcast production and design experience, including 2.5 years at Viacom - Black Entertainment Television (BET) and MTV Networks, and 3 years with Exit4 Holdings LLC. Current Exit4 partners include BET's Creative Services Department, Infinite Productions (Hip Hop Saved My Life), and Sleeping Dragon Entertainment. He also obtained three years of sales/marketing experience at 95.5 WBRU-FM in Providence , RI ; Banana Republic; Target Stores; and PECO Energy Co. He is currently a member of Brown University Inman Page Council, the Brown Alumni Schools Committee (BASC), Building Our Youth’s Development (B.O.Y.D.) of NJ, and the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce Education Committee.

He currently resides in Hamilton, NJ with his wife Tannisha, son Michael "Tre' " Troutman III, and their newest arrival, Peter Corey. His favorite books are Hinds Feet on High Places By Hannah Hurnard, The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren,  and Rich Dad, Poor Dad By Robert Kiyosaki. He enjoys drawing, painting, creating music, and playing basketball.

Tannisha Troutman
Vice President, Operations

Having graduated with degrees in Finance and Accouting from Villanova University in 2002 and having worked with Morgan Stanley and Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP (both of which are supporters of JANJ),  Tannisha joins JANJ with a wealth of operational, financial analysis, and auditing experience. She is involed with various leadership activities including being a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., the National Association of Black Accountants, the Villanova University Alumni Association, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. She also volunteers for JANJ and the March of Dimes. She currently resides in Hamilton, NJ with her husband Michael, son Michael "Tre' ", and their newest arrival, Peter Corey. In her spare time she enjoys sports, reading the Harry Potter series of books as well as novels by Eric Jerome Dickey, watching CSI and Law and Order-SVU, and playing the card game Spades.
