Calling All JA Alumni!

Were you a Junior Achiever?  Did corporate volunteers introduce you and your classmates to economic principles and career opportunities? Did these role models influence you to start your own business or help you consider your future? If the answers to these questions are yes, then there is a high possiblity that they had a profound impact on your life.

Experiencing JA as a student, whether through the National Association of Junior Achievement Companies (NAJAC) conference or through your after-school club, means that you have memorable experiences and JA memories to share. This page is yours to post your best JA experiences with fellow alumni from across the country!

Here are examples of testimonies from JA Alumni. Click here to view JA Alum 1 and JA Alum 2!

JANJ Alumni Spotlights

How can JA alums get involved with JANJ?
As someone who experienced what JA has to offer from a student's point of view, you understand its value better than anyone. Many JA Alumni continue to help bring JANJ programs and experiences to more students in a number of ways.

  • Volunteer: You can represent JANJ in the classroom or after-school programs because you have invaluable information and experiences to share.
  • Job Shadow: You can host a student or a group of students for a few hours or a day as part of the JANJ Job Shadowing Programs
  • JA Experience: You may speak on a portion of an existing JA program at a leadership conference or career day event.

You can even get your company, professional organization, or college involved!

As you already know, our corporate partners are the life blood of the organization. You have the opportunity to get your company involved with JANJ. Please visit our Corporate Sponsors page for more information. Feel free to participate in our bowl-a-thons, golf outings, or the New Jersey Business Hall of Fame.  If you belong to a professional organization or college, your group can volunteer.

You can support us and truly make a difference for New Jersey students with a donation to JANJ. Financial support from past participants like you helps to keep our programs free of charge to schools.
